Well prepared
Everything you want to know before your class.
From your first booking to arriving at the studio – here you will find answers to the questions we hear most often.
Do I need Pilates experience?
No. If you are new to the Reformer, we recommend our Reformer Foundation Class as your introduction. You will get to know the Reformer, the essential fundamentals and movement principles at your own pace. Afterwards, our all-level classes are suitable for a range of experience levels.
What should I bring to class?
Comfortable, close-fitting clothing and non-slip grip socks are ideal. Water is available at the studio. Everything else you need for your class is provided on site.
When should I arrive at Body Atelier?
For your first class, we recommend arriving around 15 minutes early. This gives you plenty of time to settle in, change and have a quick drink.
Why are classes limited to eight people?
Small groups allow for precise corrections and genuine attention. This enables us to adapt movements individually and maintain the quality of every class.
How long is a class?
Each class lasts 55 minutes. We deliberately leave a 30-minute break between classes so you can arrive without rushing and enjoy a coffee or another quiet moment at the studio afterwards.
Can I take part if I have an injury or am pregnant?
Many exercises can generally be adapted to individual needs. If you have an existing condition or injury, or if you are pregnant, please consult your doctor beforehand to confirm whether Pilates is suitable for you and make sure to inform us before class. This allows us to assess which format and modifications are right for you.
Can I cancel a booked class?
Yes. The applicable cancellation period is shown directly with your booking on Eversports. Please cancel in good time through your Eversports account so your place can be made available again.
Do you offer private sessions?
Yes. In a private session, we tailor the exercises, pace and focus to your individual needs and personal training goals. Feel free to contact us directly if you are interested in a one-to-one session.
Do I have to wear grip socks?
For our Reformer Classes, we recommend non-slip grip socks for secure footing on the equipment. If you do not have a pair yet, you can purchase them at the studio.
What happens if I arrive late?
Please allow enough time for your arrival. Once the class has begun, participation may no longer be possible, particularly on the Reformer, for safety reasons.
Can I book without a membership?
Yes. You can also book classes at Body Atelier without a membership. You will find all available tickets and offers under Prices or directly when booking through Eversports.
Can I stay at Body Atelier before or after my class?
Absolutely. We deliberately leave time between our classes. Enjoy a coffee or some water, chat with others or simply take another moment for yourself.
